The Intersection between Art and the Everyday in Quotidian: ten years of daily photos.

Main Focus Research Area: Photo based art addressing issues of childhood, human relationships, growth, the body, decay, memory, consumption and culture.

I will address some of the challenges and implications of the production of my work “Quotidian”, daily photographs made of my daughter since she was born nearly ten years ago. Specifically the boundaries between art/research and life? How does making art out of the domestic or the intensely personal challenge beliefs and definitions both within the personal/domestic sphere as well as the art/research sphere?
