Abstract

In this paper there are three different sections which are made with different approaches. The three sections are made in the same frame of time.

The first section is “Passing in Venice” which is a photographic project. I had an assignment for myself where I was taking pictures at the exhibitions sites at the Venice Biennale this year and I was trying to include the person or persons looking at a particular art piece. The project is made into a slide show and a story, where the text is used in an experimental form. The text main point is to bring about a feeling of images and experience passing quickly.

The second section is an arguing text using the website www.anu.edu.au/HRC/ first_and_last/works/realer.htm as reference. This is a text about simulacrum by B Massumi. I want to point out this reference in particular because as a practitioner, ideas and concepts that are explained in a good way are of great value. I am grateful for the easy access and the great will by Massumi to communicate these complicated concepts taken from other peoples writing, as for example Deleuze and Guattari.

The third section is called “Passing” and is documentation and edited images from some work done in my studio, including redesigned clothing.
